Hendriks recently finished his final round of chemotherapy on April 5 and shared the news by posting a video of him ringing the "victory bell."
There is currently no exact timeline for when Hendriks may return to pitching for the White Sox.
The White Sox started a "Close Out Cancer" campaign to raise money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation in Hendriks' honor.
Hendriks is a three-time All-Star closer who led the American League in saves during the 2021 season.
