Wisconsin QB Tanner Mordecai has surgery after broken hand, will miss several games

Wisconsin quarterback Tanner Mordecai broke his hand and had surgery to repair it.
Mordecai had a pin inserted into his hand and it's unknown when he will return.
Backup QB Braedyn Locke replaced Mordecai during the game and will start upcoming games.
Mordecai had 1,127 passing yards, 3 TDs and 3 interceptions in six games this season.
The Badgers will take on Illinois in their next game on October 16, 2023.
