Woman Allegedly Assaults 3 TSA Officers at Phoenix Airport, Injuring 2
- A 19-year-old woman attacked three Transportation Security Administration officers at a checkpoint in Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport early Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
- Two officers were hospitalized following the incident but have since been released.
- The unprovoked assault happened around 6 a.m. at a Terminal 4 security checkpoint, temporarily closing it and rerouting about 450 travelers to another checkpoint, the TSA said.
- The suspect, whose name has not been released, was arrested and faces multiple charges including assault, criminal damage and disorderly conduct.
- The identities of the injured TSA officers have also not been released.
