Woman Arrested for Burglary After Cooking Dinner in Stranger's Home

The suspect allegedly fabricated a story about knowing the homeowner to gain access to the house.

Joanna Kelly Lee was arrested in Madison, Wisconsin, after allegedly breaking into a home and preparing a shrimp and pasta dinner.
The homeowner returned late Tuesday night to find the lights on and an unknown person inside the house.
Lee claimed she had met the homeowner at a coffee shop earlier that day and was given keys to the house.
Authorities discovered that Lee had gone through the homeowner's mail to learn her name and fabricate a story.
Lee has been charged with burglary and criminal trespass and is currently being held at the Dane County Jail.
