Woman in Her 20s Dies After Daytime Shooting in Toowoomba

Three individuals have been arrested as police investigate the fatal shooting that occurred near a school during afternoon hours.

A woman in her 20s was found with life-threatening gunshot wounds on a footpath in North Toowoomba and later died in the hospital.
The incident occurred on Christmas Street at approximately 2pm, near Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, during school pick-up hours.
Queensland Police have arrested three individuals described as 'associates' of the victim and are continuing their investigation.
Authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area to come forward to assist with the case.
Police have stated there is no immediate threat to public safety, though the circumstances of the shooting remain unclear.
