Worker Seriously Injured in Tree-Cutting Accident in Mahlow

A 27-year-old man was hospitalized after falling from a telescopic work platform during tree-felling operations in Brandenburg.

The incident occurred on Saturday in Mahlow, a town in the Teltow-Fläming district of Brandenburg.
The worker, employed by a gardening company, was cutting a tree crown from a telescopic work platform when the accident happened.
For reasons not yet determined, the tree crown fell in the wrong direction, striking the worker and ejecting him from the platform.
The man fell several meters to the ground and sustained serious injuries as a result.
He was airlifted to a hospital by rescue helicopter for urgent medical treatment.
