Wrestling star hospitalized after shooting, injuries not life-threatening

Ohio State wrestler Sammy Sasso was shot and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries in Columbus, Ohio.
Sasso is a two-time Big Ten champion and two-time NCAA runner-up for Ohio State.
University police are assisting Columbus police in investigating the shooting.
Sasso is a member of the U.S. senior national freestyle wrestling team originally from Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
The shooting occurred off campus and Sasso was transported to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
