Yazidi Woman Rescued from ISIS Reveals Forced Consumption of Human Flesh

Fawzia Amin Sido shares harrowing experiences of her decade-long captivity under ISIS, including being forced to eat the meat of Yazidi babies.

Fawzia Amin Sido, a Yazidi woman, was captured by ISIS in 2014 at the age of nine and was recently rescued by the Israeli Defense Forces in Gaza.
Sido recounted being forced to eat rice with meat that ISIS militants later revealed to be the flesh of Yazidi babies.
The revelation came with graphic evidence, as captors showed photos of beheaded babies to the prisoners, causing severe emotional trauma.
Sido was sold to multiple jihadi fighters during her captivity and had two children with one of her captors, Abu Amar al-Makdisi.
Despite her rescue and reunion with her family in Iraq, Sido's children remain in Gaza with their father's family.
