YouTube Expands Playables with Multiplayer Gaming Tests

YouTube is testing a multiplayer feature for its Playables platform, allowing users to play games with others in real-time.
The feature is currently available for two games, Ludo Club and Magic Tiles 3, on both desktop and mobile devices.
Playables, YouTube's collection of lightweight, free games, launched broadly to all users in May 2024 after initially being exclusive to Premium subscribers.
The Playables catalog now includes over 130 games spanning genres like action, puzzles, trivia, and sports.
YouTube plans to continue exploring new features for Playables as part of its efforts to boost user engagement through casual gaming.
