Yung Filly Pleads Not Guilty to Sexual Assault Charges in Australia

The British rapper and YouTuber faces eight charges related to an alleged incident during his 2024 Australian tour.

Yung Filly, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in a Perth hotel room on September 28, 2024, following a performance.
The charges include four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of strangulation.
The 29-year-old appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on March 11, 2025, where he pleaded not guilty to all charges and is set to appear in the higher district court on June 13, 2025.
Barrientos was arrested in Brisbane in October 2024, extradited to Perth, and released on bail under strict conditions, including a $100,000 AUD personal undertaking and surety.
The allegations have led to significant professional fallout, including the cancellation of a live show with collaborator Chunkz, as his peers await the trial's outcome.
