Meta Launches Paid, Ad-Free Subscriptions for Facebook and Instagram in Europe

Meta's new subscription-based model aimed at bypassing EU restrictions features a monthly fee of €9.99 on the web and €12.99 on mobile devices to access ad-free versions of Facebook and Instagram, beginning in November. The subscription will apply to all accounts linked in a user's Accounts Center until March 1st, 2024, when additional fees for each linked account will be implemented.
